The Howard

The Howard is a very discreet five star hotel in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town. It prides itself on attention to detail and aims to treat every guest like a guest in a private residence. From the moment you arrive, your dedicated butler will tend to your every need from unpacking your bags and serving afternoon tea in the Drawing Room to co-ordinating your social itinerary and serving a three-course dinner in your suite, so that you can totally relax. There are 18 elegant, opulent and romantic rooms at The Howard, each named after an Edinburgh street or district. Rooms contain rich, colourful and contemporary fabrics to create a traditional look and a deeply relaxing, romantic ambience. No two hotel rooms are identical in size, shape or aspect because they occupy a row of classic Georgian Edinburgh townhouses. All rooms are full of Georgian character, intimate and truly romantic. The rooms come in varying proportions and can be double or twin; some have canopy beds. Bathrooms are ensuite and intricately thought-out, some with separate showers.
