Royal Hotel Deal - Superior Double

  • Day 3 Royal Cinque Ports

Golf on Royal Cinque Ports . Deal, as it is more commonly known, lies along a continuous dune in a narrow strip of land between the English Channel and farm grazing land. It runs out along the seashore and returns inland on a parallel strip to its starting point in a traditional links layout. Deal has hosted the Open Championship in 1909 and 1920 and was to have done again in 1949 until the sea flooded the course. Please note a very limited supply of golf carts are available for hire. Certain restrictions may apply, please advise your Golf Travel Specialist.

Royal Hotel Deal - Superior Double

  • Day 4 Royal St. George's

Play Royal St George's , located on the Kent Coast of England.  A links course full of awkward twists and turns each designed to derail an overconfident approach. Founded in 1887 and intended by its founder, Dr William Laidlaw Purves, to be a rival to St Andrew’s in the South of England, St George’s is consistently ranked amongst the leading courses in the World.  The Club occupies a unique place in the history of golf, for it was here in 1894, that the Open Championship was first played outside Scotland. In all there have been 14 Open Championships played at St George’s, more than any course outside of Scotland.  The Open Championship returned to St George’s for the 15th time in 2021, when the Club hosted the 149th Open Championship.  (Handicap certification is required, and a maximum handicap index of 18.4 applies to all golfers).

Royal Hotel Deal - Superior Double

  • Day 5 Walton Heath - Old Course Sir Christopher Wren's House Hotel

Golf today on Walton Heath - Old Course Set in the Surrey countryside lies on of England's best heathland courses. Fairways clad in heather and gorse and flanked on both sides by deep woodland of pines and silver birch. The club has a fascinating history, five times Open Championship James Braid was the first professional and members have included Winston Churchill and David Lloyd George. Please note a very limited supply of golf carts are available for hire. Certain restrictions may apply, please advise your Golf Travel Specialist.

Sir Christopher Wren's House Hotel - Executive Room

  • Day 6 Sunningdale - Old Course

Golf today at Sunningdale - Old Course The Old Course, designed by Willie Park, is the more famous of the two courses, but only acquired the title of Old when the New Course, was built in the 1920`s. The Old course, is widely regarded as one of the finest inland courses in England, with 103 bunkers, with pine, birch and oak trees lining the heather culminating with the famous 18th hole and the final green below the ''Sunningdale Oak Tree''.  Please note strict handicap limits are set by the club. Men 18 & Ladies 24.

Sir Christopher Wren's House Hotel - Executive Room

  • Day 7 Swinley Forest

Golf today at Swinley Forest . One of the finest example of heathland golf. The course is just over 6,000 yards from the back markers and has a par of 69, so by modern standards is relatively short but it is a beautiful course. It is noted for its wonderful collection of par three holes. Designed by Harry Colt and opened in 1909, Swinley Forest places exact demands on the highest skilled golfer, yet remain enjoyable to those less skilled. An exclusive members club Swinley has a unique charm and ambience.
Please note strict handicap limits are set by the club. Men 24 & Ladies 36.

Sir Christopher Wren's House Hotel - Executive Room

  • Day 8 The Berkshire - Red

Today play The Berkshire - Red Course . Designed by Herbert Fowler in 1928, each hole is played in seclusion, the mature sycamore, birch, chestnut and pine trees providing majestic tunnels for the rippled fairways. A straight game is needed to keep out of the trees and heather. Its highly unusual design with 6 par threes, 6 par fours and 6 par fives make for a very interesting round. The hallmark of the course is definately the par threes each superb in its own right.

  • Day 9

Frequently Asked Questions

To help you decide, we've compiled answers to common questions about our Custom Tours. Curious about itineraries, accommodations, or logistics? Our FAQs cover it all. For personalized advice, our Golf Travel Experts are ready to assist.

  • How far in advance should I book a trip to ensure best availability?

Our best advice is to decide on your preferred trip and confirm the dates as soon as possible, for everything is a component of availability. If you are traveling during high season, the golf courses can have significant demand and sooner we are able to submit your groups request for tee times and similarly to the hotels, the likelihood of securing your exact, preferred schedule is enhanced.

  • What is the optimum size of a group?

Every group has different dynamics but we believe that groups of 8 travelers are more preferred, for two reasons; (1) a group of 8 people remains small enough that everyone can interact with each other easily and (2) in terms of access to golf tee times and hotel arrangements we have found this size of group to be the easiest to accommodate. Of course, we are delighted to assist with groups of 2 to 150 travelers.

  • When is the best time to travel?

    It varies by destination. High season (for golf) is as follows;

    • Scotland, Ireland, England, Wales, France & Italy
      April – October.
During the summer season you will enjoy the best possible chance of good weather. However Britain does experience changeable, unpredictable weather year round and it is therefore best to anticipate.

    • New Zealand & Australia
      September – April
Peak season is December - February/March

    • Spain, Portugal & South Africa
      January - December
South Africa is attractive all year round. Many prefer to visit from October - March. The summer months in the south of Spain and Portugal can be very hot and the condition of the courses deteriorates. Therefore the peak seasons in Spain and Portugal would be April – June & September – November.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?

Checks, MasterCard, VISA or wire transfer/ACH

  • Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly suggest and offer an attractive travel protection program. This information is described on the reservations forms.

  • When will I receive final travel information?

We ordinarily distribute final travel information 21 days in advance of departure. This includes all hotel contact details for your trip along with other pertinent information.

  • Can I ship my golf clubs ahead of me to my destination?

If you would prefer to send your golf clubs, and indeed any luggage in advance to your destination to avoid checked baggage hassles, PerryGolf is pleased to recommend Luggage Forward, the leading provider of doorstep to destination luggage delivery to over 200 countries worldwide. Upon your return, Luggage Forward can have your baggage picked up at your hotel, golf course or cruise port and delivered back home (or can send your clubs back if you are staying on to travel but the golfing portion of your trip is done).

As a client of PerryGolf you are entitled to a 10% discount on any Luggage Forward delivery. For price quotes or to book a delivery, visit www.luggageforward.com/perrygolf. To speak with a Forwarding Specialist, please call 866.416.7447 and remember to reference promo code PERRYGOLF when booking over the phone. Luggage Forward recommends booking at least a couple weeks prior to your trip to ensure you receive all available service options.

Please note: In order to complete an international delivery, you will need to provide travel documents as required by customs.

  • Can you assist with dinner suggestions?

PerryGolf provides a dining guide with the information you receive in your Final Travel Documents prior to travel.

Everything exceeded expectation. It was all wonderful and if there were any 'behind the scenes' challenges I was not aware of them which is a good thing. Would I recommend PerryGolf to my friends/colleagues - yes in a heartbeat!
