Zimbali Lodge is one of Southern Africa's most exclusive hideaways, set within the serene confines of a coastal forest reserve on the north coast of KwaZulu Natal - a natural sub-tropical paradise and home to mischievous dolphins and a myriad of sea and bird life. The hotel overlooks the Indian Ocean and is surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful indigenous gardens. The Zimbali Lodge has a total of 76 rooms situated in individual lodges (2 lodges of 8 rooms and 6 lodges of 10 rooms). It offers five-star luxury accommodation, and is decorated to complement the natural surrounding forest. The classical architecture is accentuated by warm wood and russet autumn tones. The bathrooms are luxurious and feature Victorian baths from the turn of the century. Each room has a mini bar which is well stocked with a selection of beverages, light snacks. Butlers are on hand to attend to the guest's every need including room service and a very select ensemble of delicious snacks and light meals grace the room service menu.
