Bovey Castle

The course was the original design of JF Abercromby in 1926 and reopened in the summer of 2004 after being carefully restored and updated under the creative eye of Donald Steel & Tom MacKenzie. The Rivers Bovey and Bowden are integral features on eight of the holes while the wild beauty of the National Park forms part of the golf course's landscape. No. 11 is a remarkable par-4 requiring an approach shot over a water-filled valley. Laying up leaves a tricky pitch to an elevated green.
