Designed by Willie Dunn, who was the architect of the first golf course to be built in France (Pau, 1856). Biarritz le Phare is the second oldest golf course and is built in the British tradition. Facing the Atlantic ocean and the lighthouse, this flat and tireless course offers the best quality of fairways and greens in the region. Even though the course is short by modern standards, it remains tough due to the clever placement of 75 bunkers and the small greens.
