Royal North Devon
More commonly known as Westward Ho, the club was founded in 1864 and is the oldest in England and Wales. The course is a challenging one, a links situated on the rugged North Devon coast, where its exposed location, multitudes of spiky rushes, naturally formed grassy mounds and deep bunkers pose a tough round. Don't be deceived by the relative flatness of the Northam Burrows. The course has played host to the British Amateur on two occasions.
