A neo classic building situated among the flowered gardens of the enchanting Stresa lake front is home to the Grand Hotel Bristol. Once the car is parked in the big underground garage, a crystal cupola welcomes you, through an elegant revolving door, to the entrance of the Grand Hotel. The hotel was completely renovated in 2002 and has an underground parking area for 160 cars. Candoglia marble, antique carpets, woodwork, curtains, crystal chandeliers and Tiffany glass cupolas are some of the refined furnishing of the hotel situated in Stresa, the 'pearl' of the Borromeo Gulf. All the romantic charm of the lake is gathered in a breathtaking winter garden, sheltered by large windows overlooking the secular park. In every season this is an ideal surrounding to enjoy a drink and the view of the Borromeo Islands. Two swimming-pools, one of which is an inside and heated pool, two Jacuzzi tubs and Turkish bath, await the clients for their relax hours. In the neighbourhood there is the possibility to practise sports as sailing, windsurf, canoeing, waterskiing and riding.
