Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees
The Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees is immersed in a park facing the enchanting Lake Maggiore. Built in 1861 and wisely renovated in 1991, its original structure is completed unaltered, and here the Belle Epoque seems never to fade. The hotel boasts a magnificent view of the Borromeo Islands and the surrounding Alps. The 128 double-bed rooms, 33 single and 11 suites are equipped with Jacuzzi, air conditioning and satellite television. In the park there are two swimming pools, a tennis court, a private heliport and a large car park. There is also a private landing for motorboats and boats. Water sports, riding ground and 7 golf-courses are located in the neighbourhood. In the restaurant Il Borromeo and the piano bar an elegant atmosphere and an irreproachable service, sign of class and glamour. Along with the regional food the hotel guests can taste the most typical dishes of Mediterranean cuisine. During summer lunch and dinner are served on the outside terrace.
