Royal Johannesburg Golf Club
Royal Johannesburg East Course
One of the finer clubs in South Africa grew even stronger in 1998 when it merged with Kensington Country Club. The East course is maintained in pristine condition year round and stretching to more than 7,500 yards from the championship tees, making it one of the longest courses on the European Tour and able to test even the most powerful hitter in the modern game. Maneuvering around the large trees and avoiding the numerous water hazards are critical to scoring here.

Royal Johannesburg West Course
The West Course at Royal Johannesburg has undergone its share of alterations and been modified on many occasions since its inception in 1909. While it doesn’t pack quite the same punch as the East course, it’s still a rigorous tree-lined test, measuring more than 7,000 yards from the championship tees. Each nine finishes with a par-5. The fairways and greens are rather generous, and undulating, however, wayward shots will be penalized. Thoroughly enjoyed, regardless your skill level.
