A classic parkland test, Glendower has a long history of playing host to the best touring professionals from South Africa and across the world. The legendary Bobby Locke visited when the club was in its infancy and the South Africa Open was held again at the course in 2013, prompting former European Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley to rave about the beauty and challenge of C.H. Allison’s inviting design. There are 64 bunkers and water hazards on 11 of 18 holes .
