Fraserburgh Golf Club
Fraserburgh
The seventh-oldest course in the world, Fraserburgh is located along the ruggedly handsome Northeast Aberdeenshire coast. This true links was founded in 1777 before the great James Braid’s redesign opened in 1922. This is the course played today, a par 70 of 6,318 yards, as it winds through majestic and imposing sand dunes, mixing wildly undulating fairways and rolling greens. Panoramic views of the Moray Firth are offered throughout, and the view from the third tee is memorable and definitely worth capturing a selfie. Visitors here are welcome to play the medal tees which is not always the case at other clubs.
