Tucked beneath the ridges of the mountains and therefore protected from the ferocious breezes that can pummel neighboring areas, Simola is located in one of the most scenic towns in Africa and Jack Nicklaus designed a golf course worthy of the property. A diverse and interesting layout, with five par-5s and five par-3s, enjoy the view from the elevated tee boxes sprinkled throughout. In particular, the par-3 No. 17, measuring 152 yards over water is a memorable shot late in the round.
