K Club - The Palmer North Course
Located 17 miles from Dublin city center, this 550-acre, 5-star golf resort has no equal in Ireland. Arnold Palmer designed both 18-hole courses, this one the North Course opened in 1991 and served as host for the 2006 Ryder Cup. It has also been the site for multiple European Open championships. It is a difficult golf course. There are 14 lakes on this meticulously manicured parkland layout with large, quick and severely sloped greens. True to form, Palmer’s favorite hole was No. 4, a risk-reward par 5 where overhanging trees guard the right side and the green entices golfers to take a swing.

K Club - The Palmer South Course
The Palmer design team aimed to create a golf experience in stark contrast to what players would face at the North Course on the other side of the River Liffey. Mission accomplished. This links-style layout is no slouch either and has played host to the European Open on two occasions producing champions Retief Goosen and Colin Montgomerie. Mounding, clever bunkering, artistic water hazards and massive sloping greens define the layout as does the 7th, Palmer South’s signature hole named “Swallow Quarry”. It measures 606 yards from the tips with a rock faced water feature running the full length of the hole.
