This Jack Nicklaus signature golf course uses the natural, rolling terrain of the area to present a challenging layout including natural water hazards, indigenous trees and plants. Designed in 1974 by William Mitchell, who introduced American-standard greens, tees and bunkers to the Algarve. The land features a pine forest, rice paddies and views overlooking the sea and Serra da Arrábida natural park. The Torre course is set to feature risk-and-reward holes, tight fairways and small greens, with Garcia pointing to Valderrama as his inspiration. It will favour precision and shotmaking over length and power.

Today play the Dunas Course at Terras da Comporta (tbc). Opened in October 2023, the course instantly won acclaim as it was named the ‘World's and Europe’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and ranked ninth in Golf World magazine’s respected industry poll of the ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe’ for 2023-2024. It is the first to be designed in mainland Europe by acclaimed golf architect David McLay-Kidd. Set within 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain on the edge of the Sado Estuary Nature Reserve. The course is engulfed by towering pine trees, large bunkers and sandy wasteland areas, luscious wide undulating fairways, along with the fast and undulating green complex.
Included: Non-golfers indulge in a treatment at Oryza Spa, with views over the surrounding rice paddies. Floor-to-ceiling windows and serene interiors make this a relaxing sanctuary.

The Arthur Hills designed course is set among pine woods and reforested dunes, in an area of great natural beauty. Since is opening in 2001 it has held 7 professional tournaments including the European PGA Tour Portuguese Open. Currently Portugal's only entry in the top 100 courses in the world.

Midsize Coach
Midi Coach with Concierge Driver for groups of up to 16 guests. Your service is based on a maximum 12 hour day and includes all Drivers Expenses, but excludes gratuity. Your Concierge Driver will meet you at the airport upon your arrival and return you to the curb for your departure. In between, they will take care of everything from handling your golf equipment and luggage , dinner reservations and sightseeing suggestions. Drivers working hours are strictly monitored with legally required overnight rest periods for the safety of all guests.
Arrival & Departure Ground Transportation Arrangements: Quotations for customized groups which include Concierge Drivers are based on the inclusion of ground transportation services as specified on the itinerary. They are based on one airport transfer on arrival and departure. Where group members may be arriving or departing at materially different times, the group’s designated vehicle may make more than one transfer at no extra cost to the group only where this is practical to achieve. Ground transportation services which any members of the group may wish to engage separately beyond the group’s designated vehicle will be at additional cost to those individuals, including in the event of delayed or missed flights where it is not possible or practical for the group’s designated vehicle to provide this transportation.
Motorcoaches: We are pleased to confirm the motorcoach that is listed on your tour schedule. In the event that your confirmed coach is not available due to reasons beyond our control, we will provide a comparable or larger coach for your group (and refund any monies that might be due).
Ground Transportation
Your local ground transportation will be provided throughout by comfortable air conditioned motorcoaches ensuring a relaxing travel environment. Your PerryGolf Host will accompany you throughout the tour and be present at all social functions, taking care of the finer details. This way you can relax with complete confidence that the logistics of your vacation are in expert hands. Your PerryGolf Host will be accompanied by a local English speaking guide as appropriate to the schedule.
Non Golfers will typically have organized touring options on golf days and dependent on the final numbers, an additional driver/guide may be added as required.

Important Information
Caddies: If you request caddies on your Reservation form, PerryGolf will make a request for caddies to each club in advance of your visit. PerryGolf enjoys a fine relationship with many golf clubs, and while each Club will do all they can to provide caddies, they cannot be guaranteed. Caddies are not employed by the clubs themselves or by PerryGolf. If you have requested a Caddie on your Reservation Form and the golf club subsequently provides a caddie or bag carrier you are required to make full payment for their services.

How far in advance should I book a trip to ensure best availability?
Our best advice is to decide on your preferred trip and confirm the dates as soon as possible, for everything is a component of availability. If you are traveling during high season, the golf courses can have significant demand and sooner we are able to submit your groups request for tee times and similarly to the hotels, the likelihood of securing your exact, preferred schedule is enhanced.

What is the optimum size of a group?
Every group has different dynamics but we believe that groups of 8 travelers are more preferred, for two reasons; (1) a group of 8 people remains small enough that everyone can interact with each other easily and (2) in terms of access to golf tee times and hotel arrangements we have found this size of group to be the easiest to accommodate. Of course, we are delighted to assist with groups of 2 to 150 travelers.

When is the best time to travel?
It varies by destination. High season (for golf) is as follows;

During the summer season you will enjoy the best possible chance of good weather. However Britain does experience changeable, unpredictable weather year round and it is therefore best to anticipate.

South Africa is attractive all year round. Many prefer to visit from October - March. The summer months in the south of Spain and Portugal can be very hot and the condition of the courses deteriorates. Therefore the peak seasons in Spain and Portugal would be April – June & September – November.

When will I receive final travel information?
We ordinarily distribute final travel information 21 days in advance of departure. This includes all hotel contact details for your trip along with other pertinent information.

Can I ship my golf clubs ahead of me to my destination?
