Sotogrande was Robert Trent Jones, Sr.'s first designed course in Continental Europe, and it is a classic. Real Club de Golf de Sevilla is a enjoyable Jose Maria Olazabal design, featuring wide fairways and smooth greens. La Reserva opened in 2003 and the Cabell B. Robinson design quickly became a favorite among visitors to the Sotogrande. Valderrama is the best known course on the Costa del Sol, site of the 1997 Ryder Cup, claimed by the Europeans. Lightning fast greens, pristine fairways lined with cork trees create a terrific layout that’s been ranked No. 1 in Continental Europe on many occasions. Accuracy, power and touch are all required to navigate this championship course. Finally, Finca Cortesin is a terrific venue and host of the 2023 Solheim Cup. A number of the greats of the game have ignited their careers here. It is however the future that is the most exciting. Set in the foothills of Sierra Bermeja, amidst the peace and natural beauty of Andalusia, and with a multi-million euro renovation of facilities now completed, The San Roque Club can once again be considered one of the finest golf venues in Europe.

Today play La Reserva (tbc). The newest addition to the courses of Sotogrande. Designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in the autumn of 2003 to outstanding reviews. The course lies within the Sotogrande complex to the north of Valderrama. It can stretch to over 7,000 yards when played from the back tees. Four large lakes dominate much of the landscape and provide hazards.

The natural environment and landscape of Cortesin are one of it's most attractive features. The player will remain immersed in a green paradise which is not surrounded by real estate developments. The designers Cabell Robinson and Herald Huggan, landscaper of international fame, have managed to maintain the natural character, finding a perfect equilibrium between the natural plants of the Mediterranean forest and the well manicured fairways and greens.

Real Club de Golf de Sevilla
The city of Seville is loaded with culture and seizes the imagination and this parkland design by the two-time Masters champion Jose Maria Olazabal fits the landscape. The course has played host to several significant professional tournaments, including the World Cup of Golf and the Spanish Open. Although the property of the layout is generally open, the targets are small and require precision. The greens are well-designed and challenging. The course features 90 bunkers and nine lakes.
Sotogrande
Set amid cork oaks, pine trees and palm trees, the Sotogrande Old Course is well regarded throughout Europe. In classic Robert Trent Jones Sr. fashion, the course is loaded with wide fairways, more than 100 bunkers and a litany of risk-reward holes. The 7th hole is considered one of the most beautiful holes in the world. This was Trent Jones’ first course design in continental Europe and he set the bar high. A complete course restoration project was completed in 2016.
San Roque - Old

The course lies within the Sotogrande complex to the north of Valderrama. Enjoy scenic views of the Mediterranean Sea and upward to La Gran Reserve, the highest peak in the region. The course is nearly 7,400 yards when played from the back tees. Four large lakes dominate much of the landscape and provide hazards.
Finca Cortesin
Located to the west of Marbella with wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea. The natural environment and landscape of Cortesin form an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. The player will remain immersed in a green paradise which is not surrounded by real estate developments. The designers Cabell Robinson and Herald Huggan, landscaper of international fame, have managed to maintain the natural character, finding a perfect equilibrium between the natural plants of the Mediterranean forest and the well-manicured fairways and greens.
Valderrama
The best known course on the Costa del Sol because of its exposure to the game’s most proficient players on the grandest stage. It is a course which invariably is in excellent condition throughout the season. It demands precision from the tee in order to find the narrow fairways nestled between the cork trees. A strong nerve is required on the lightning fast greens. The course has played host to the Ryder Cup and World Golf Championship events.
