PerryGolf is pleased to partner with Azamara Club Cruises for an exceptional 15 night, 5 round golf voyage through the Baltic Sea onboard the outstanding 690 guest Azamara Pursuit. Our golf is the best in the region including The International, WINSTON Open, Bro Hof Slott and Gorki Golf Club in Russia. ... Read More.

We spend two extraordinary nights in St. Petersburg known as “The Venice of the North,” and famous for its golden-domed churches and extravagant palaces, including Peterhof and The Winter Palace. Stockholm is the capital and epicenter of Sweden, rich with beautiful parks and pristine air and water. Golf in this region of the world has come of age in recent years. Winston Open opened in 2011 and three years later was named the best course in Germany. The Stadium Course at Bro Hof Slott, a five time host on the European Tour, is a stunning lakeside layout by Robert Trent Jones Jr. laden with risk / reward opportunities.

Azamara Pursuit is a mid-sized luxury vessel nimble enough to access smaller ports yet large enough to provide every amenity you expect from fine dining and live entertainment to a full-service spa. Forty-four suites are available with English butler style service which routinely book early. Particularly enjoyable about a PerryGolf / Azamara cruise is how the schedule will include many extended stays in port plus the occasional overnight which permits a truly immersive experience. Better still, Azamara Club Cruises are inclusive of a full selection of beer, spirits, soft drinks, bottled water, specialty coffees plus wine with lunch and dinner along with gratuities for housekeeping, dining and bar staff.

Every aspect of the golf program is managed by PerryGolf staff onboard and ashore. Your clubs will be waiting your arrival at the golf course. Tee times and pairings will be posted the night before. Casual competitions will be arranged and prizes awarded. Lunch is included while you play plus there will be an open bar at the clubhouse when you finish. Carts/caddies, transfers, local taxes, service charges and gratuities (excluding caddies) are included.

The guest list will number between 40 and 60, most of whom are golf couples. It’s also common to have non-golfers who will enjoy themselves as a luxury cruise guest starting with Azamara Pursuit’s fabulous facilities combined with a wide selection of Azamara Shore Excursions®. The “2020 Baltic Sea Golf Cruise” is a full-featured vacation and a unique opportunity to enjoy yourself in the company of like-minded new friends!

JUNE 8, MONDAY: SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND (IN PORT / 5:00PM)

Embark Azamara Pursuit beginning at 12:00PM. All aboard by 3:30PM.

Welcome Cocktails & Briefing this evening. Meet your fellow participants.

Overnight: At Sea

JUNE 9, TUESDAY: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS (5:00PM / IN PORT)

Amsterdam has a personality all its own, including a long-time reputation for tolerance on a wide range of issues. You’ll be thinking of tulips and wooden shoes, perhaps Heineken beer, and some of the city’s part inhabitants: Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Anne Frank, who wrote her famous diary hidden in a canal-side house. But do you know that Amsterdam has more canals than Venice (connecting a jigsaw puzzle of 90 islands), joined by some 1,280 bridges (many illuminated by fairy lights at night)? Or that it boasts the oldest stock exchange in the world?

Enjoy Amsterdam on your own or via Azamara Shore Excursions®.

JUNE 10, WEDNESDAY: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS (IN PORT / 5:00PM)

GOLF: The International is an elite club in The Netherlands, set to play host to the 2019 KLM Open on the European PGA Tour. The course was designed by Masters champion Ian Woosnam and features rolling undulation beside frequent encounters with water hazards. Large mounds between fairways gives each hole a distinct feel. The third hole is a fascinating par-5, wrapping around a lake and offering golfers multiple routes to the green. Be sure to gaze back toward the tee once you’re safely on the putting surface. The 18th green is bordered by a beautiful stone wall, which perfectly matches the elaborate clubhouse terrace in the background.

Overnight: At Sea

JUNE 11, THURSDAY: TRANSIT KIEL CANAL (10:00AM / 8:00PM)

The Kiel Canal is an engineering marvel, one that’s saved ships billions of miles since it opened in 1895 and sheltered sailors from the open seas beyond. This 61-mile freshwater canal enables mid-sized luxury vessels such as Azamara Pursuit to safely transfer from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea while guests enjoy the scenic countryside beyond the banks of the water. The Kiel Canal is the world’s busiest shipping routes with 43,000 ships and 20,000 yachts making passage each year.

Overnight: At Sea

JUNE 12, FRIDAY: BERLIN (WARNEMUNDE), GERMANY (8:00AM / 9:00PM)

GOLF: WINSTON Open was built in 2002 and is the original 18 hole championship course at the 45 hole WINSTON Golf, Germany’s top ranked golf complex. The rolling hills, thick forests and deep blue lakes of Mecklenburg characterize the layout along with well sheltered greens offering putting conditions that meet the highest standard. This demanding golf course challenges the players whilst at the same time offering gorgeous panoramic views. The Open Course is a regular venue for the European Senior Tour with each year the tournament receiving high praise from golf professionals and the tournament organizers alike.

SIGHTSEEING: Warnemunde is a seaside resort neighboring the red brick 800-year-old Hanseatic city of Rostock. From here it is possible to spend the day in Berlin, capital city of a reunited Germany. Its historical core, home to important monuments like the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building, is part of a revitalized city center, with cafes, restaurants, museums, and galleries. Layered over the Prussian past are WWII, recognized in a Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe; and Cold War relics, including a surviving section of the Berlin Wall and the infamous Checkpoint Charlie.

Enjoy Berlin on your own or via Azamara Shore Excursions®.

Overnight: At Sea

JUNE 13, SATURDAY: AT SEA

Today it’s time to relax and reset. Make your reservations early for The Sanctum Spa, a world-class wellness facility offering a full range of health, beauty and restorative treatments. Complimentary fitness and nutrition classes are available along with a fully equipped gym on Deck 9 offering magnificent sea views. There’s room for everyone on the Pool Deck both in and out of the sun. Service to your lounge chair is available from The Pool Bar where the attentive staff is always ready to offer an inclusive cocktail, beer, bottled water, soft drink or fresh towel. The Patio restaurant serves casual fare during the day then completely transforms itself into a sit-down al fresco dining experience at night with table linens and candles. Elegant specialty dining is available for beef at Prime C and Italian at Aqualina. Windows Café serves casual buffet dining with every imaginable choice indoors and out at the sensational Sunset Bar.

What a way to spend a day!

Overnight: At Sea

JUNE 14, SUNDAY: STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN (8:00AM / IN PORT)

Start the day with an early morning scenic cruise of the Stockholm Archipelago, which is just a few minutes away from the city and includes nearly 30,000 islands, islets and rocks - from Öregrund in the north to Landsort in the south - each with its own character. Rugged nature blends with wooded islands, rocky cliffs and sandy beaches.

GOLF: The Stadium Course at Bro Hof Slott Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of the game’s best courses. Shortly after opening in 2007 the course which sits on spectacular grounds beside Lake Mälaren was judged to be Sweden’s best. It now ranks 54th in Golf World’s world 100 and is ranked the second best in Europe outside the British Isles. The Stadium Course is a “lakeside course” and a fabulous experience for any golfer. It also featured on the European Tour with Lee Westwood winning the 2013 Nordic Masters.

SIGHTSEEING: Stockholm is the cultural, media, political, and economic center of Sweden. It sports an appealing mix of modern Scandinavian architecture and fairy tale palaces, watched over by a Board of Beauty, responsible for preserving the city. One third of its area is devoted to green space, and another third to waterways, providing lots of room to breathe. Gamla Stan is the oldest section, retaining the medieval layout of narrow meandering paths. For the contemporary take there's Sodermalm, known trendily as SoFo with welcoming restaurants and pubs, specialty shops and boutiques. Stieg Larsson fans hang out here, as it is the area of the city where most action in the Millennium novels takes place.

JUNE 16, TUESDAY: TALLINN, ESTONIA (8:00AM / 5:00PM)

GOLF: Estonian Golf & Country Club opened in 2005 as part of the prestigious European Tour Properties network, and quickly and rightfully took its place in Golf World Magazine’s prestigious Top 100 European Courses, a spectacular achievement for a venue in an emerging golf nation. Its Sea Course hosted the Omega Mission Hills World Cup European Qualifier in both 2009 and 2011, with the International European Seniors Championship following in 2013 and the European Ladies' Amateur Championship in 2014. Locals say that when God created the coastal land of the Estonian Golf & Country Club, he must have intended it to be a golf course as it winds its way so harmoniously along the Baltic Coast and the Jägala River delta.

Please note The Estonian Golf & Country Club operates a limited number of golf carts which will accommodate the majority but not all of our guests. Carts will be allocated on a most need basis. It is an easy walking golf course. Pull carts will be provided for all walking guests.

SIGHTSEEING: Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia, being home to one third of the country’s population. Despite occupation at one time or another by each of its near neighbors, Tallinn is independent-minded and has creative ways of showing it - consider the Singing Revolution of 1988, the massive musical demonstration against Soviet rule that set Estonia on the path to independence. Visit St Olav's Church, once the tallest building in the world, at least until 1625. Then pull up a chair at one of the cafés in the charming town square, heart of the city for 800 years. After your coffee, explore St. Catherine's Passage, a quaint old lane, home to a collection of craft workshops, and check out the secret 17th C. tunnel system.

JUNE 17, WEDNESDAY: ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA (8:00AM / IN PORT)

St Petersburg is one of the world's most beautiful cities and has all the ingredients for an unforgettable travel experience: high art, lavish architecture, energetic nightlife, an extraordinary history and rich cultural traditions that have inspired and nurtured some of the modern world's greatest literature, music, and visual art. The architecture is varied and striking, with golden domed churches, and an astounding number of large and extravagantly decorated palaces, consistently evoking wows from visitors. The grandest include the countryside Peterhof with its lavish gardens and majestic golden fountains cascading down to the Gulf of Finland; and the Winter Palace, within the complex of the Hermitage, one of the world's largest museums with a collection of some three million works of art and artefacts.

RUSSIAN VISA - PLEASE NOTE: Guests are permitted to enter Russia under the ship’s VISA Free status (which also covers our organized visit to Gorki Golf Club) so long as they are doing so on one of the ship’s Land Discoveries® excursions. An extensive range of excursions are available for purchase and can be booked online in advance or once onboard. It is also possible to set up a qualifying private excursion under Azamara’s Private Journeys® program which requires to be set up a minimum of 30 days in advance.

Guests who wish to make their own plans out with this program, or who wish to walk off the ship independently, which is not recommended due to language and other issues, will require to arrange their own Russian Tourist Visa in advance which can be time consuming and costly.

Gdansk is a 1,000-year-old port city on the Baltic coast of Poland, which, together with the city of Gdynia and the town of Sopot, makes up the metropolitan area Trójmiasto, “the Tricity”. Home to the Westerplatte, where World War II broke out in 1939, Gdansk was mostly destroyed during the war, but many impressive sights remain. Wander through cobblestone streets and mazes of red-brick buildings to discover the Upland Gate, St. Mary’s Church, the medieval Gdansk Crane or the stunning façade of the Great Arsenal. Explore treasures of “Baltic Gold” at the Amber Museum or collections of paintings, fabrics, and furniture at the National Museum, housed in a former Franciscan monastery. Relax at a beer garden or restaurant and take in the beautiful coastline. Make your way to Gdynia, home of the Polish navy, to feast on seafood or a visit to a floating museum in the form of two ships – Dar Pomorza and Blyskawica.

Important Information

Golf Handicap Limit: The golf courses we play around the world offer varying challenges. Players often require to be of a certain standard to properly and fully experience them in the company of likeminded fellow golfers. We therefore set a maximum permitted golf handicap to participate on our tours and cruises; The maximums are 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

Golf Courses: The included list may be subject to change in the event of any club accepting any conflicting national or international event, or for any other reason. Should such a situation occur, PerryGolf will endeavour to book a course of comparable standard, and all booked guests would be notified of the change and replacement venue at the earliest opportunity.

Transfers: No transfers are included to or from the ship at arrival/departure airports.
