Noosa - The most northerly resort community
of the Sunshine Coast and arguably the most well-known holiday
accommodation destination. The Sunshine Coast extends from Peregian
Beach to Noosaville on the banks of the Noosa River and includes
the localities of Marcus Beach, Sunrise Beach, Sunshine Beach,
and Noosa Heads; Noosa Head’s communities consist of Little
Cove (bordering on Noosa National Park), Hastings Street (the
boutique resort street), Noosa Sound and Noosa Junction (the
principal commercial area) and Noosa Hill (extensive views of
Laguna Bay and Noosa river estuary).

Areas
Eumundi Markets and Wine Tour (Operates Saturday and
Wednesday only) - A visit to Eumundi Markets is an
absolute must. The sleepy historic town of Eumundi is transformed
every Wednesday and Saturday into a bright and colourful maze
of over 300 market stalls. This outdoor market has an enormous
range of locally produced art, food and clothing plus street
entertainers. The markets are a great place to find the perfect
souvenir to remind you of your Sunshine Coast holiday. After
browsing through the markets and taking in the atmosphere, you
can spend extra time at Eumundi, or be taken to Noosa for free
time, before commencing the Afternoon Wine Tasting Tour.
You will enjoy a lovely afternoon visiting the Sunshine Coast's
wineries region, only a short drive from Noosa. You will visit
two wineries where you can taste over 19 local and regional
wines. The Sunshine Coast wineries region produces premium wines
from boutique wineries and vineyards. The local conditions produce
award winning varietal wines such as Chambourcin, Verdelho and
Shiraz. Also visit the Australian Nougat Company factory where
you can indulge your taste buds in the sweet taste of Macadamia
Bliss nougat.
Please note: This tour operator gives you the choice to be an
Early Bird or a bit of a Sleepy. The Early Bird option will
be back in Noosa at approx 11:00am, so you have until 2:00pm
to do what you like in Noosa, before commencing the wine tour.
The Sleepy Head option will be back in Noosa at approx 1:00pm,
so you have about one hour before commencing the wine tour.
Afternoon Wine Tour (Operates Daily) - An afternoon
to visit, the Sunshine Coast's wineries region, only a short
drive from Noosa. You will visit two wineries where you can
taste over 19 local and regional wines. The Sunshine Coast wineries
region produces premium wines from boutique wineries and vineyards.
The local conditions produce award winning varietal wines such
as Chambourcin, Verdelho and Shiraz. Also visit the Australian
Nougat Company factory where you can indulge your taste buds
in the sweet taste of Macadamia Bliss nougat. A minimum of 2
passengers is required for each of the above tours to operate.
Full Day 4 Wheel Drive tour to Fraser Island
- Your adventure begins with complimentary pick up from local
accommodation at 0620 hours, before heading across the Noosa
River, bound for the Cooloola National Park. An exhilarating
drive along wet sandy beaches leads you to the Teewah Coloured
Sands where, over a cup of coffee or tea with cakes and biscuits,
you may learn of the mysterious legends surrounding these magical
cliff faces. We celebrate your adventure with chilled champagne
and orange juice served on the silken beaches at the Cherry
Venture wreck site. Through Rainbow Beach to Inskip Point, we
embark on the barge to Fraser Island .A brief crossing that
may delight you with sightings of playful dolphins. Travelling
75 mile beach is an exciting experience as we navigate the pristine
sands towards Eurong Village, then the off road terrain into
the island's core.
Discover the awe of nature as you are guided through the rainforests
of Central Station before a leisurely lunch stop at a breathtaking
freshwater lake. Your hosts invite you to bask in the sunshine
and wallow in the waters whilst they prepare your sumptuous
luncheon feast.
An authentic Aussie BBQ of prime T bone steaks, fresh fillets
of fish, sizzling sausages and vegetarian meals are served with
a choice array of salads, followed by a succulent tropical fruit
platter offered with complimentary Beer, chilled Wine and refreshing
soft drinks. Your return journey is an invitation to enjoy the
forestry wonders of Fraser Island, scribbly gums and eucalypts
contrasting with blackbutts and string barked satinays. Back
on the mainland, we enjoy afternoon refreshments on deserted
beach stretches before returning to Noosa by 4.30pm.
