The Travel Protection Plan does not offer coverage for cancellation due to a personal change of plans or pre-existing conditions. Product may not be available in all jurisdictions.

Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver Benefit

If purchasing a Custom Touring program to the British Isles only (Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales) you will also be covered by PerryGolf’s Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver Benefit, explained below. This Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver Benefit is not offered to any other destination, nor is it offered on any Golf Cruising program, including programs to the British Isles.

If you purchase the travel protection plan within 14 days of the initial deposit for your Trip, you also receive the PerryGolf Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver Benefit that allows you to cancel your PerryGolf Travel arrangements 14 days or more before your first scheduled PerryGolf land arrangement for ANY REASON NOT COVERED by the travel protection plan provisions and receive a travel certificate for the cancellation penalty amount (valid for travel with PerryGolf within 18 months of your date of cancellation). You will receive a cash refund for the remaining land cost. Travel certificates are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash and may only be redeemed by the named person. The Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver does not apply to cancellations received within 14 days of your first scheduled land travel arrangement provided by PerryGolf. If the Travel Protection Plan is purchased after the 14 day period, it does not include the waiver protection option. However, the Travel Protection Plan may be purchased at any time prior to final payment for your trip.

NOTE: The "PerryGolf Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver" waiver is ONLY available for travel in the British Isles (Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales). It is NOT available or offered to other PerryGolf destinations.

If you must interrupt your trip or return home early for a covered reason, the plan will pay (up to the original cost of your trip) for your unused land or cruise arrangements, less any refund paid or payable, plus the additional air expense to return home or rejoin your trip.

The plan will also pay the additional cost for a change in the per person occupancy rate if a traveling companion’s trip is canceled and your trip continues.

  1. Trip Cancellation/Interruption**: Coverage provides financial protection for expenses related to trip cancellation or trip interruption caused by a covered reason. Trip Cancellation coverage provides reimbursement for prepaid, non-refundable expenses, up to the amount of coverage purchased. Trip Interruption coverage offers reimbursement for the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip and increased transportation costs for you to return home due to a covered reason. Some covered reasons are listed below:
    • Serious and unforeseen illness, injury or death of you, a covered family member or traveling companions.
    • Natural disasters or bad weather that result in the complete cessation of services by an airline, tour operator or cruise line for at least 24 consecutive hours.
    • Employer termination if you have been with the same employer for at least three continuous years, and are terminated through no fault of your own after the effective date of this insurance.
    • Fire, flood, burglary, vandalism or natural disasters making your home uninhabitable.
  2. Emergency Medical & Dental**: Coverage provides benefits for emergency medical or dental expenses you incur during the coverage period. Services must be provided by a licensed provider and must take place during your trip. A $50 deductible applies to outpatient care.
  3. Emergency Medical Transportation: Pays for emergency medical transportation services, authorized in advance and organized by the Access America Hotline Center, and medically required as a result of an injury or illness which occurs during the coverage period, to have you moved to the nearest appropriate facility. Once you are able, we will also pay to have you returned home.
  4. Baggage Coverage**: Provides benefits for loss, damage or theft of baggage and personal effects provided you have taken all reasonable measures to protect, save and/or recover your property. Coverage is secondary to coverage provided by a common carrier.
  5. Baggage Delay**: Covers the reasonable additional purchase of essential items if your baggage is delayed or misdirected by a common carrier for 24 hours or more. Receipts for emergency purchases are required.
  6. Travel Delay**: Offers reimbursement to cover additional accommodation and travel expenses due to a delay of at least 6 hours. Covered reasons for travel delay include carrier caused delays (including bad weather) and unannounced strikes. Payments may not exceed $150 per day.
  7. Sports Benefits**: Provides coverage for specialist sporting equipment; reimburses rental costs if equipment is stolen, lost, damaged or delayed by a common carrier for at least 12 hours; reimburses non-refundable sports-related deposits and payments such as tee times, equipment rentals and lessons.
  8. Trip Inconvenience Benefit*
This coverage will pay a one-time $500 benefit per person. This includes the Winter Sports Cover which is available from December 15 through March 30. The Golf Cover or the Adventure Cover includes coverage for a serious injury occurring to you that causes you to be medically unable to continue your activity.
  9. 24-Hour Hotline Help: Help is just a phone call away with Access America travel protection. A staff of multi-lingual problem solvers is available to help you gain access to local resources and information you need to solve a medical, legal or travel-related emergency.

Pre-existing Conditions Exclusion:
The program does not cover losses or expenses if they result from a pre-existing condition.
Pre-existing conditions are any injury occurring prior to and including the effective date of this insurance and any illness occurring during the 120 days prior to and including the effective date of this insurance for which medical diagnosis and treatment by a physician has been sought or advised or for which symptoms exist which would cause a prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment.

Pre-existing Conditions Exclusion Waiver: If you purchase your policy within 14 days of the initial trip deposit, purchase enough insurance to cover the full cost of all trip arrangements, are medically able to travel at the time of insurance purchase, and have not filed a claim for trip cancellation due to a pre-existing illness within 120 days of the effective date of this insurance, we will waive the Pre-existing Conditions Exclusion. This waiver is available for trips costing $20,000 or less.

** Benefits are provided through Access America, a service mark and a division of World Access Service Corp. Insurance coverage is provided under a Master Policy Form No. 52.401 issued by BCS Insurance Company.
