Turnberry AilsaSCOTLAND: Turnberry renamed the 18th hole on the Ailsa Course "Duel in the Sun" in commemoration of the classic duel between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus in the 1977 Open Championship, during this year's Senior British Open Championship. Watson won the battle in 1997, and although both Nicklaus and Watson were in the field this year, Watson had a different dueling partner in Carl Mason during the sudden-death play-off, which produced similar results to 1977 - Watson won again.
