LETTER FROM ATLANTA

It's been a long cold, wet winter and spring throughout much of the United States and the reality of summer and the green of the beckoning fairways has never been more welcome. The political events of the early spring also put a hold on many travel plans. In response to this and other uncertainties in today's travel climate we are proud of our new "Travel Protection Plan" and "Cancellation for Any Reason Waiver" to eliminate any stress and worry over planning travel in the future, and possibly having to change plans. The good news is, now that things are stabilizing, it's definitely not too late to put together a trip to the British Isles this year for golf, and the courses have never been in better condition, due to a long, dry early spring there. In addition to the thrill of playing international golf, there is much to be gained by the friends you meet along the way.

Later, in Advised Reading, The Advisor reviews a new book on Bobby Jones, The Wit & Wisdom of Bobby Jones. Mr. Jones was a true diplomat and gentleman of the game. A native of Atlanta, he traveled the world playing golf and making friends wherever he went. One of the quotes from the book, really hit home on the game and why this business of assisting people to have the finest international golf experiences is so rewarding.

" ... But the wonderful thing about golf is that it holds forever the interest of all who play it; and so I find myself today a member of a sort of a fraternity of those who walk the fairways with me, with numbers considerably augmented by the many who have come since... The championships have been very much worth the effort they cost, but more important by far have been the expanding interests they brought and the avenues to friendships with individuals and groups of people they opened for me. That these rewards should endure so long makes it easy to see why for me golf will always be the greatest game."

Bobby Jones loved golf and the camaraderie of his fellow golfers in the British Isles as much as he relished his friends in America. I sincerely hope that we shall be able to assist in providing wonderful international golf experiences, memories and friendships to you in the near future. Continuing our goal of delivering the finest in golf travel this edition of the Advisor chronicles a fantastic helicopter itinerary to Northwest Ireland; a preview of our 2004 Grand Touring programs - including the return of the popular Royal Scotsman Train and a new luxury ship, the SeaDream II, with a fabulous Mediterranean itinerary; and two itineraries onboard the M/S Clipper Adventurer - Irish Links by Sea and British Open by Sea; as well as book reviews and timely news. All PerryGolf clients that deposit travel for 2004 before October 1, 2003 will receive the choice of a Clubglove or a $600 credit towards Business Class airfare.

In closing, I would like to acknowledge and thank Marge McGinness who is retiring after 15 years with PerryGolf. Marge played an integral role in PerryGolf's growth and success over the years and the entire staff wishes her the best.

As always, we hope you enjoy.
