PERRYGOLF AT THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

PerryGolf has two wonderful Grand Touring Portfolio programs designed to take in all the excitement of the 131st Open Championship at historic Muirfield, home to the Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers, the game's founding fathers. The list of winners of the Claret Jug at Muirfield is one of the game's greats throughout the modern era. We hope you can join us to personally witness the exciting action as the tournament is again contested over this hallowed ground. And, unlike many links courses, Muirfield's outer and inner nines ensure that no point on the course is more than a 10 minute walk from the clubhouse facilities, so it is ideally suited for Open Championship viewing.

Clipper AdventurerThe British Open Golf Cruise, July 13 - 22, departs Glasgow onboard the luxurious floating hotel - the M/S Clipper Adventurer for an 8-day cruise to the championship links of the Highlands before returning to Leith to attend the final two rounds of the tournament. Each evening you'll relax at sea coasting by the magnificent Scottish countryside, and each morning you'll awake to a new vista. Courses include Royal Dornoch, Nairn, Cruden bay, Royal Aberdeen and Kingbarns. Sights for non-golfers include Crathes Castle and gardens, Balmoral (if the Queen is not in residence), Dornoch Cathedral, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and Highland distilleries.

Royal ScotsmanThe British Open Aboard The Royal Scotsman, July 15 - 22, combines a stay at St. Andrews new luxurious St. Andrews Bay, with a tour to the Highlands aboard one of the world's must extravagant trains, before returning to watch the final round of the tournament with hospitality. Golfers will play the Old Course, St. Andrews, Kingsbarns, Royal Dornoch, and Nairn. Sights for non-golfers include a walking tour of the medival town of St.. Andrews, Edinburgh's Royal Mile, Dunrobin Castle, personal tour of Glenmorangie Distillery and Ballindalloch Castle.

These two programs, onboard The Clipper and aboard The Royal Scotsman, to the Open Championship have been extremely popular over the past few years, with participants witnessing first hand -- the Jean Van de Velde saga at Carnoustie, Tiger's record victory at St. Andrews, and Duval's Major breakthrough last year at Lytham -- and look to be sold out again early this year.
