LETTER FROM ATLANTA

PerryGolf and many of our partners participated at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando at the end of January. For many years this Show has served as the main forum for what was new in the world of equipment and apparel. But this year the new trend of showcasing the Golf Travel Industry was evident. For the first time the travel related exhibits were clustered together and given prominent space in the front of the massive Convention Center between the more traditional equipment and apparel sections. And international travel was especially well represented.

Our impressive space again featured one of our fleet of VIP Golf Coaches transported over especially for the Show and various promotional stops at many clubs in the Southeast afterwards. We are also pleased to announce that we have added another customized VIP Golf Coach to our fleet to meet increased demand in the British Isles, bringing our total to 10, and will have a dedicated VIP Golf Coach available in Spain and Portugal this September.

Golf Magazine hosted a ‘Travel Forum’ breakfast and debuted the redesign of the magazine, starting in the March issue, which is highlighted by the launch of the most comprehensive golf travel section of any major publication. Golf Digest seems poised to also elevate travel to a higher profile in all their books with the announcement of a new dedicated travel editor. We applaud these changes, all designed to give the golfer more informed choices when they travel, as we continue to strive ourselves to provide excellent resources through our website, www.PerryGolf.com, and our staff of dedicated professional Golf Travel Specialists. This issue of the Advisor we provide an indepth look at one of Scotland’s most overlooked championship links courses – Southerness, whose remote location can be made more accessible in time conscious itineraries through the use of PerryGolf’s Special Air Services also highlighted in this issue.

As always we hope you enjoy –

See You on the Links –
