Today play La Reserva. The newest addition to the courses of Sotogrande. Designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in the autumn of 2003 to outstanding reviews. The course lies within the Sotogrande complex to the north of Valderrama. It can stretch to over 7,000 yards when played from the back tees. Four large lakes dominate much of the landscape and provide hazards.

Enjoy a half day excursion to the picturesque village of Ojen accompanied by your culinary guide to visit the Olive Oil Museum and Wine museum where you will have a tasting session with tapas. Ojen, is a 20 minute drive from Marbella climbing to 650ft in the sierras Blanca. Enroute you will stop to enjoy the traditional ''Churros and Chocolate''. Lunch will be served in a 12th century Arabian castle. Ojen was a Moor village whose original ruins are visible to this day. The gastronomy of the village is based on local produce including goat cheeses and milk products. Of special importance are the soups, rice and noodle dishes, fish and the delicious almond-flavoured gazpacho. Among the favoured game dishes are rabbit in garlic and partridge.

Day 4

Today visit majestic Ronda, famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge that carries the Rio Guadalevín through its center. Ronda is a spectacular one hour drive from the coast. Your first of many photo opportunities will be the 18th century Puente Nuevo (new bridge) which straddles the 328ft chasm below, for its unparalleled views over the Serranía de Ronda mountains. Ronda is also famous as the birthplace of modern bullfighting.

Our day will include a two hour vineyard tour with a tasting and tapas. You will enjoy lunch in one of Rhonda's charming restaurants serving local cuisine and wine. After lunch we will walk La Ciudad, old Ronda, exploring cobbled streets hemmed by handsome town mansions, some still occupied by Ronda's titled families. The Palacio Mondragon, found on the furthest end, still has working vestiges of the exquisite miniature water gardens dating from its time as a Moorish palace during Ronda's brief reign as a minor Caliphate under Cordoba in the 12th century.

Day 5

Play Marbella Club Golf Resort. Designed by Dave Thomas the course is situated amidst the hills of Benahavis, and provides magnificent views of Gibraltar, the African Coastline and the surrounding mountains. The 18 holes measure in excess of 6,000 metres and comprise water features and demanding bunkers, a trademark of the course designer, encouraging players to search for the most advantageous approach shot.

Enjoy cooking lessons and lunch in a private beach front villa near Puerto Banus. Specializing in Mediterranean and Andalucian cuisine, our culinary expert describes how to combine wholesome, healthy cooking with oriental and western flavours. Using the abundance of locally available natural food products (Andalucia is described as the ''Salad Bowl'' of Europe) to produce Mediterranean specialities such as the exquisitely aromatic couscous, tapas or other Andalucian dishes and a wide variety of colourful savoury canapes. You are invited to actively partake in her personalised classes given in a sub-tropical garden setting overlooking the Mediterranean.
