This utterly unique ocean going vessel, beautifully appointed after a meticulous and complete six year refurbishment, has only recently become available for cruising in and around Scottish waters. We have four departures on offer for 2010; two sailings of Scotland’s Highlands and Islands between Ayrshire and Inverness, plus a pair of east coast cruises which include attendance to the 139th Open Championship at St Andrews.

The Highlands and Islands

This private yacht odyssey begins at Troon on the Ayrshire coast, and concludes in the heart of the Scottish Highlands at Inverness. During the week we will sail in and around the Hebridean islands including the whisky isle of Islay and the legendary Isle of Skye all the while enjoying some of Scotland’s most spectacular natural beauty. Golf is arranged each day, as is sightseeing for the non golfers. Golf highlights include Machrihanish and Royal Dornoch, plus the much heralded and highly rated new Castle Stuart near Inverness. You’ll also play Machrie on Islay, along with two extraordinarily remote nine hole gems in Traigh and Durness. Non golf highlights include the Isle of Skye, the Cathedral town of Dornoch and the Kintyre Trail.

Combining The Open with a golf trip to Scotland promises one of the most memorable visits imaginable. Add the HARMONY II, plus The Open at the Old Course, for an experience beyond compare.

We offer two programs. The 2010 British Open by Mega-Yacht sails for 7 nights from Inverness to St Andrews including five rounds of golf, daily sightseeing excursions plus attendance to Saturday and Sunday’s Open. The 2010 British Open by Mega-Yacht & the Fairmont St Andrews combines three nights at the Fairmont St Andrews with attendance to The Open then five nights on board HARMONY II for five rounds and daily shore excursions.

As one of only twelve guests on board this muscular, steel-built, ocean worthy vessel you will never be short of space. Each of the eight cabins open to high ceilings and range from 297 to 146 sq feet. Each has been individually designed to showcase the very highest quality, hand-made British furniture. All have their own ensuite bath plus generous storage. High definition, LCD televisions, telephone, internet access and work space allows each cabin to double as fully functional office.
