Le Diamant will provide exceptional levels of comfort and convenience
for fans of the Ryder Cup. We have arranged for docking in a specially
designated area of Newport Docks, only 7 miles from Celtic Manor.
Regular shuttle service will provide access to the Matches and
the ship throughout each day.
The ship is refreshingly spacious. Even the standard cabins are
a roomy 170 square feet with the suites offering up to 370 square
feet. All cabins have outsidve views and either one king-size
bed or single, two wardrobes, two drawers with locks, a plasma-screen
TV and DVD player, hair dryer, two bathrobes, individual air conditioning
and heat control. Storage space is excellent and ten cabins have
private balconies. Many have a small bathtub with bathrobes provided.
The Main Lounge can welcome all passengers at once, yet like
a comfortable clubhouse there are numerous spaces on board Le
Diamant, like the library, the small lounges or the splendid Observatory
room, where individuals and groups can steal away.
All meals are included, and will be prepared fresh each day by
fully qualified French chefs, featuring a varied menu of international
cuisine. Continental breakfast will be served in your cabin on
request or in the form of an American buffet in the panoramic
restaurant. Lunch is buffet style and served on the terrace of
the panoramic restaurant, looking out on the sea. Dinner will
be served at the table in the gourmet restaurant. Special wines
chosen ahead of time will be served with dinner and are complimentary.
A fine wine menu is also available.
