Since 1999 PerryGolf has operated a variety of exclusive small-ship
golf cruises, frequently among the British Isles and typically
highlighted by attendance to the British Open or the Ryder Cup.
Now we are delighted to present a greatly expanded selection of
“Golf Cruising by PerryGolf” programs. Our eighteen
cruises in 2008/2009 offer marquee golf and touring ranging from
The Great Lakes and Scotland to the Mediterranean and South Africa,
each designed to provide a highly personal
experience with exceptional service where friends old and new
can enjoy their love of golf and passion for travel.
France
In France we are delighted to offer two barge programs which accommodate
just 18 and 20 guests respectively onboard Le Phénicien
and Libellule. Le Phénicien meanders the Rhône through
Provence between Avignon and Aigues-Mortes; Libellule travels
the River Saône through the Burgundy wine region between
Lyon and Dijon. Both promise the quintessential French experience
with outstanding food and wine, historic countryside touring and
a selection of excellent golf courses.
The Mediterranean
Yacht-style golf cruising is on offer in the magnificent Mediterranean.
Working closely with Classic Golf Cruises, we have developed a
series of programs for 2008 and 2009 which  utilize
the delightful 34-guest,165 foot Callisto. We’ll visit Turkey,
The Greek Islands, Italy, Croatia, France, Tunisia, Spain and
Morocco through ports of call including Antalya, Crete, Genoa,
Bonifacio, Hammamet, Gibraltar and Casablanca. Callisto can access
the many fascinating water ways along her routes closer than larger
ships would ever attempt.
Scotland
Our “2009 British Open by Sea” continues a proud history
of PerryGolf cruising among the British Isles dating to 1999.
We introduce the MS Andrea for 2009, a charming 286 foot clubhouse-style
vessel accommodating 105 guests. Our eight night, five round voyage
begins in St Andrews before sailing the Scottish shoreline en
route to Sunday’s final round of the 138th British Open
at Turnberry.
North America
For the first time, PerryGolf is coming to North America in 2009
with a golf cruise of the Great Lakes and the Canadian Maritime
Provinces on board the Clelia II. Our seven night Great Lakes
voyage will sail each of the five lakes for five rounds of outstanding
play. Our ten night / five round sail of Canada’s Maritime
Provinces begins in St. John’s for an encounter with the
region’s astounding natural beauty along with visits to
Montreal and Quebec. After extensive refurbishment, Clelia II
will relaunch in early 2009 providing all-suite accommodation
for just 100 guests.
South Africa
South Africa is a paradise for golf, natural beauty and of course,
exotic wildlife. Our thirteen night adventure begins 19 March
2009 with two nights at the elegant Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape
Town before sailing South Africa’s scenic Indian Ocean shoreline
for the next eleven on board the deluxe Corinthian II, an all-suite
yacht accommodating just 114 guests. You’ll play eight rounds
including Pearl Valley, Durban Country Club and Fancourt- The
Montagu combined with excursions like the Hluhluwe-Wmfolizi National
Park (one of the countries most outstanding game reserves) and
Tsitsikamma National Park (a flora, fauna and geologic wonderland
in the famous Garden Route).
