Day 1

This evening depart the United States.


Day 2

On arrival at the Malaga Airport you will be met by PerryGolf personnel who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to your rental vehicle.

Your PerryGolf representative will lead you to your hotel and will be available for a full tour briefing after check in.

Day 3

Play Marbella Club Golf Resort. Designed by Dave Thomas the course is situated amidst the hills of Benahavis, and provides magnificent views of Gibraltar, the African Coastline and the surrounding mountains. The 18 holes measure in excess of 6,000 metres and comprise water features and demanding bunkers, a trademark of the course designer, encouraging players to search for the most advantageous approach shot.

Day 4

Today play La Reserva. The newest addition to the courses of Sotogrande. Designed by Cabell Robinson and opened in the autumn of 2003 to outstanding reviews. The course lies within the Sotogrande complex to the north of Valderrama. It can stretch to over 7,000 yards when played from the back tees. Four large lakes dominate much of the landscape and provide hazards.

Day 5

Play San Roque Old. Designed by Dave Thomas with bunkers redesigned by Seve Ballesteros, The Old Course is rated amongst the finest in Europe, with tight sloping fairways lined by mature cork oak trees, demanding straight accurate driving. Strategic bunker placement and deceptive water hazards threaten all but the most precise approach shots. The greens are fast and contoured and the setting provides stunning mountain views. Please note strict handicap limits are enforced by the club. Men 24 & Ladies 32. It is a requirement to produce your handicap certificate at the Pro Shop prior to play.

Day 6

Today play Valderrama.  The best known course on the Costa del Sol, having hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup Matches and curently host venue to the Volvo Masters. It is a course which invariably is in excellent condition throughout the season and consistently ranked #1 in Continental Europe. The course demands precision from the tee in order to find the narrow fairways nestled between the cork trees. A strong nerve is required on the lightning fast greens. Please note strict handicap limits are set by the club. Men 24 & Ladies 30.

Day 7

Today play Finca Cortesin. Located to the west of Marbella with wonderful views over the Mediterranean Sea. The natural environment and landscape of Cortesin are one of it's most attractive features. The player will remain immersed in a green paradise which is not surrounded by real estate developments. The designers Cabell Robinson and Herald Huggan, landscaper of international fame, have managed to maintain the natural character, finding a perfect equilibrium between the natural plants of the Mediterranean forest and the well manicured fairways and greens.

Day 8

Depart Spain from the Malaga Airport.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Your travel throughout is as follows:

Espacar Rent a Car: Renault Espace with manual transmission or similar. Includes Unlimited Mileage, comprehensive damage insurance with no excess applicable should your vehicle sustain damage or loss. (Certain restrictions apply)

Special Air Services: You may wish to consider the selective use of private aircraft or helicopter transportation to visit golf courses not otherwise easily accessible, or simply to eliminate longer road journeys. We are great believers in maximizing the benefit afforded by this form of transportation. Please visit Special Air Services for an outline of the options which are available.

GRAN MELIA DON PEPE
On the beach-front and in extensive sub-tropical gardens, the Gran Melia Don Pepe hotel stands in an enviable position overlooking the Mediterranean and the long traffic free marine promenade. There are shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate neighbourhood and it is a 10 minute walk to Marbella centre and just a little further into the attractive old town. A renowned hotel, it has lots of amenities, including a large swimming pool, tennis courts, heated indoor pool and a fitness centre with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and massage. Two restaurants serve international and local cuisine, and, weather permitting, a lavish buffet lunch is put on by the pool terrace. Calmina Restaurant boasts a Michelin star. Other attractions are a piano bar, boutiques and hairdressing salon. Fashionable Puerto Banus, with its restaurants and shops, is just 6km away. All bedrooms and bathrooms at are air-conditioned/heated and bathrooms have bathrobes and hairdryer, satellite TV, modem and fax connection, free safe and mini-bar. Most rooms have a seaview and balcony, larger rooms to the rear have a mountain view. Junior suites with a sitting area, balcony and seaview are also available.

TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN - PerryGolf recommends that you have luggage, accident and trip cancellation insurance. It is important for your own self-interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate coverage. Check with your insurance company or travel agent. You may learn more about the PerryGolf Travel Protection Plan by visiting here. The Travel Protection Plan will provide coverage if your cancellation is caused by a covered reason (e.g. sickness or injury) and you will receive a benefit, such as full reimbursement of all lost monies, under the terms and conditions of the Travel Protection Plan. If purchased within seven days of the initial deposit, this Protection Plan also includes a "Cancellation for Any Reason" waiver.

The Travel Protection Plan is only available to Citizens or Permanent Residents of the USA or Canada.

NOTE: The "Cancel for Any Reason" waiver is only available for travel to the British Isles (Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales). It is NOT available or offered to other PerryGolf destinations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION


Changes: After deposits have been received and confirmation has been issued, any changes requested by the client are subject to an administrative fee of $50.00 per change per person in addition to any charges which may be made by suppliers for cancellations. In most cases, changes cannot be made less than 60 days before travel.

Handicap Certificate: Most courses require visitors to be a member of a recognized golf club and to hold official handicaps, with some courses imposing a maximum handicap restriction. PerryGolf endorses this viewpoint and recommends that players travel with a valid handicap certificate from their golf club which they may be required to produce.

Golf Cart & Caddie Options: No caddies are available for hire in Spain & Portugal. Golf Carts are available at all venues and we recommend carts are booked in advance through your PerryGolf Golf Travel Specialist to guarantee availability. All carts fees are payable locally at each course by card or cash in local currency. If you prefer to walk, either with a pull cart or carrying your own bag then this option exists at most courses but we strongly recommend golf carts for certain courses, where the terrain is unsuitable, and/or walks between tee and green are too extreme. We are happy to assist in our recommendations for carts versus walking.
