Tuesday, July 13

Play today at Nairn (tbc), a renowned links course and venue of many major tournaments, including the 1993 British Amateur Championship and the 1999 Walker Cup Matches. This traditional links layout makes its way along the shore of the Moray Firth, then returns to the clubhouse through whin and gorse bushes.

Overnight: Golf View Hotel: Master Sea View Room - including Scottish breakfast

Wednesday, July 14

Golf today on Royal Dornoch (tbc). You have the opportunity to play the most northerly of the Championship courses of the British Isles. Dornoch is perhaps more than most, a thinking golfers' course where it is not enough simply to keep the ball on the fairway. The greens are generally open in the front, but they are also set on plateaux several feet above the fairway, a feature that Donald Ross took from his home course and used on many of his classic designs.  A very limited supply of golf carts are available for hire. Certain restrictions may apply, please advise your Golf Travel Specialist. Please note strict handicap limits are set and enforced by the club. Men 24 & Ladies 35.

We invite you to view a video of the course click here.

Overnight: Golf View Hotel: Master Sea View Room - including Scottish breakfast

Thursday, July 15

Today play Castle Stuart (tbc). Due to open for play in July 2009, it is set to become an outstanding addition to the links courses of Scotland. Set along the shores of the Moray Firth to east of Inverness with wonderful views over to the Black Isle. Six holes hug the shoreline while the remaining holes are played over a terraced slope so views out to sea are ever present. A true links course in every sense.

We invite you to view a video of the course click here.

Overnight: Gleneagles Hotel: Estate View Room - including Dinner & Scottish breakfast

Friday, July 16

Play the King's Course (tbc) of Gleneagles Hotel. The King's course was the inspiration of James Braid, five time winner of the Open championship. It opened in 1919, representing the finest 'classical' golf course design. It is certainly one of the most beautiful and exhilarating places to play golf in the world. With the sweeping views from the tees all around, the rock-faced mountains to the north and the green hills to the south, and the peaks of the Trossachs and Ben Vorlich on the western horizon.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Changes: After deposits have been received and confirmation has been issued, any changes requested by the client are subject to an administrative fee of $50.00 per change per person in addition to any charges which may be made by suppliers for cancellations. In most cases, changes cannot be made less than 60 days before travel.

Handicap Certificate: Most courses require visitors to be a member of a recognized golf club and to hold official handicaps, with some courses imposing a maximum handicap restriction. PerryGolf endorses this viewpoint and recommends that players travel with a valid handicap certificate from their golf club which they may be required to produce.

Portable GPS Navigator: GPS systems are available for hire through National Car Rental at most major rental branches. Please check with your Agent for rates and locations.

Golf Pairings - If your group does not comprise a complete foursome, please be aware that at certain courses where extreme demand exists we may pair you with other clients of PerryGolf to ensure maximum utilization of that starting time. This will normally always occur at all of the St. Andrews courses (i.e. Old, New etc.). Additionally, although only very occasionally exercised, some golf clubs do reserve the right to make groups up as complete foursomes on the day of play.
