Portstewart Golf Club, Co. Londonderry, Ireland
Situated on Ulster’s famous Causeway Coast in Northern Ireland’s County Londonderry, Portstewart Golf Club uniquely offers 54 holes – The Old, The Strand, and The Riverside. A true championship links layout, The Strand is the jewel in Portstewart’s crown.

Founded in 1894, Portstewart Golf Club has had several course makeovers, most notably by Willie Park, Jr. in the 1920’s, and by Des Griffin who in 1990 finished seven new holes amidst the huge sandhills behind the first green…truly adding a new dimension to golf at Portstewart’s Strand Course.

The natural shape of the land is ideal for classic links golf, with elevated tees, rolling valleys and subtle doglegs providing a magnificent challenge. Measuring 7,000+ yards, the par 72 Strand Course is regarded by many as one of the top courses in Ireland. Host to many well-known tournaments over the years,

Portstewart’s Strand Course is a haven for the golfing purists.
